Absolutely love this gun. I have the 3 1/2” model, mostly used for waterfowl (ducks). Would not cycle 1 1/8oz loads at first, but after shooting bout 150 3” loads I decided to try em again on a dove hunt and they cycled flawlessly with the minimum of around 1250 FPS shells. If you aren’t going to be shooting 3 1/2” loads I recommend getting the 3” model. Which is exactly what I’m going to do with some pretty wood furniture on it. I bought my daughter the 20 gauge max 5 and now I’m jealous, will have to put one of those on the list too. Shim kit is easy to use, I had to adjust mine. Patterned all chokes that come with the gun, mine shoots just how I like it 60/40. If I could change one thing I would put a smaller front sight bead, but thats just me. I’ve shot em all and own em all, the B’s, W’s, & R’s. My go to shotgun for waterfowl is now the Retay Masi-Mara.
